Our society exhibits a repulsion and fascination with the lives and minds of serial killers. Who are they? What motivates them to kill? Are they disturbed, evil, or just born this way? Perhaps they are shaped by society? Modern serial killers will be discussed, their general characteristics, crimes, modus operandi, and their victims. Also, biological and sociological explanations for their criminal behavior will be presented. Presentation carried out by an experienced Canadian criminologist.
